WHAT IS SEARCH ENGINE OPTIMISATION
Search engine optimisation (SEO) is a process of organically increasing the number of visitors to a website by improving its search engine result page (SERP) rankings for targeted keywords. SEO is an essential part of any company's comprehensive digital strategy, with focus spread across the three core pillars that make up a sound SEO strategy.
Google's algorithm considers hundreds of factors when it calculates where a web page should rank for a particular keyword and it continually re checks websites and re indexes them as websites change. This may make SEO sound like an impossible task, however we understand the ins and outs of SEO best practices and are here to help you optimise your site.
People tend to go straight to their usual search engine to find what they are looking for and irrespective of what search engine a person may use, less than 15% make it past the first page. This is staggering and this results in an extremely competitive battle for a page 1 position and as far up toward the coveted no 1 spot as possible as the further up the page you are the more likely a searcher is to visit your site.
OUR APPROACH TO SEO
Our approach is based upon the three pillars of SEO to create a strategy that will result in the desired outcome and these principals are summarised as follows:
Technical (On Site) - Google's bots needs to be able to "crawl" and "read" your websites pages and for it to do this the coding behind what we see must be easy for Google to read and understand what the pages are about.
Content (On Site) - is the content on the pages that you would want to index for a particular keyword relevant. If you want to index for a particular keyword you need to make sure your content is relevant to that that keyword.
Back Link Profile (Off Site) - does your website have good quality authoritative websites pointing to your website via links hosted on their pages. The more good quality links you have the better, quality over quantity is key here.
